Discussion Group
Discussion Group is held every Wednesday in the ISA Social Room, Corte Real 1000H from 4pm - 5pm. In the summer we meet earlier, from 3:30-4:30 pm.
Discussion Group is informal and open to the campus community, including spouses and alumni. If you are interested in meeting new people, sharing your experiences or just relaxing with a cup of coffee and listening to the conversation you are welcome to attend.
Each week a new topic is selected but there is no guarantee we stick to it, we just like to see where the conversation will go! A sample of previous topics includes:
- Dating and marriage
- Gestures and differences in body language across cultures
- Social media and modern friendships
- Roommates... the good and bad
Cookies and coffee are always served.
