Winter Semester - January - April 2012

Economics 2010: Introduction to Microeconomics (1 evening time slot, on campus sections).

The Department wishes to make one per course appointment, under the terms of the MUN-LUMUN collective agreement, to teach an on-campus section of Economics 2010 (Introduction to Microeconomics) in the Winter Semester of 2012. Per Course Instructors are required to prepare and deliver the course content in accordance with calendar and departmental requirements. Minimum qualifications are a Master's degree in Economics and a demonstrated knowledge of principles of microeconomics as specified in the calendar description, and the application of these principles to the Canadian economy.

Economics 2020: Introduction to Macroeconomics (3 day time slots and 1 evening slot, on campus section).

The Department wishes to make four per course appointments, under the terms of the MUN-LUMUN collective agreement, to teach an on-campus section of Economics 2020 (Introduction to Macroeconomics) in the Winter Semester of 2012. Per Course Instructors are required to prepare and deliver the course content in accordance with calendar and departmental requirements. Minimum qualifications are a Master's degree in Economics and a demonstrated knowledge of principles of macroeconomics as specified in the calendar description (national income accounting, aggregate income analysis, money, banking, and foreign trade), and the application of these principles to the Canadian economy.
