A Three Night Festival of Research

Join us for three informal yet informative evenings showcasing Harris Centre applied research projects.

It takes place on November 12-14 from 7-9pm at THE ROCKET ROOM. Admission is free and open to all ages

Come see research interests of Dr. Luise Hermanutz and Dr. Yolanda Wiersma from the Department of Biology.

On Night 1 during the Super Science Fair you can see Dr. Luise Hermanutz. She is a conservation biologist and plant ecologist interested in how environmental change affects our forests and tundra. She will be presenting her research titled: “Biodiversity Bliss: Where would we be without plants?”

Night 2 will be focused on “How we work, live and play” and during this evening you can catch Dr. Yolanda Wierama who is a Landscape Ecologist that likes interdisciplinary collaborations, maps, computers, messing with data, and observing plants and animals in the great outdoors.
