Operation Leads

Operation Lead Volunteers are chosen through an application process and work directly with the Student Experience Office over the course of several months during the Summer in designing and executing welcome and transition programming. Each Operation Lead will be in charge of planning and executing a key event of the Welcome Week programming.

Meet the 2019 Operation Leads!

Peer Mentors (Remote)

Peer Mentor Volunteers support Memorial University’s newest students by providing advice and support to assist the successful adjustment to their new role as a university student!

Peer Leads

Peer Lead Volunteers are our front-line volunteers. You will directly interact with new and returning students and their parents during Fall Welcome 2019. Peer Lead volunteers will help with the executing of key events throughout Fall Welcome 2019. You are the face of Memorial!

Event Leads

Event Lead Volunteers work behind the scenes. You will assist with event set-up, tear down, troubleshoot, and provide event support. You are organized and love implementing plans!

About Welcome Week

Fall Welcome is filled with activities and events that help incoming students learn more about the campus while making new friends, ease the transition into university life and help all students CONNECT, ENGAGE, and BELONG to Memorial!

Come volunteer with us to help plan and implement our Transition and Welcoming Programming for all new and returning students.
