Academic Matriculation is a ceremony to officially enter new students into university to complete a degree program. It is a formal welcome at Memorial, celebrating the beginning of the student journey at university – a bookend of sorts to convocation. 

The ceremony normally takes place in person, but this year new students can tune in from anywhere as the event takes place live on Memorial's MUN Students Facebook page on Wednesday, January 13th at 4 p.m. NST.

The Facebook Live event will feature messages from Dr. Susan Dyer Knight, chancellor of Memorial University, Dr. Vianne Timmons, president and vice-chancellor, alumni, fellow students and more. Tune in to begin your Memorial journey!
