Welcome! We're Glad You're Here.
You have made a great decision to study at Memorial.
Check out the programs, events and resources designed to help you thrive in your first year at MUN. Unsure where to start? We have important tips and steps to help you prepare before you arrive. Student Life offers support to prospective and current undergraduate and graduate students who may experience barriers to accessing post-secondary education. If you need support and/or accommodations, please connect with the Blundon Centre before the start of the semester so we can ensure an accessible learning environment.
Make sure you register for our summer orientation (SOAR) program. This is an important first step in your Memorial student experience. It takes place in July and provides you with an opportunity to build friendships with future classmates, meet your professors, experience the deep traditions of Memorial University and discover what it truly means to become a Seahawk.
The fall semester kicks off with a vibrant Welcome Week. This campus wide #MUNwelcome event is designed to ensure you start your studies at Memorial prepared for this exciting journey. We also offer a parent and family orientation to ensure parents and family members have the information they need to help empower students to get the most out of their time at Memorial.
Your first weeks on campus will be busy. Don't worry, we're here to help you find your way and encourage you to ASK questions. We want to help you succeed, so please connect with Student Life early in your journey and stay engaged with us throughout.
Memorial is a fantastic place to be a student and we encourage you to make the most of everything we have to offer. Remember to cheer on the Seahawks and show that you are #MUNproud. Important tip: you will receive an all-access pass to the Seahawks games during Welcome Week so you can attend any home game for free. Remember, your university experience should be a holistic one. So get involved in things you care about on campus and in the community.
