New Interim Associate Deans Appointed
The School of Social Work is pleased to announce that Dr. Mark Abrahams, Provost and Vice-President (Academic) pro tempore, has approved the following appointments for our School:
Dr. Paul Banahene Adjei has been appointed Interim Associate Dean of graduate programs and Dr. Delores Mullings has been appointed Interim Associate Dean of undergraduate programs.
These appointments have been approved until August 31, 2021, or until new permanent Associate Deans have been appointed.
The new leadership team of the school is comprised of:
Dr. Heather Hair, Interim Dean
Dr. Paul Banahene Adjei, Interim Associate Dean, graduate programs
Dr. Delores Mullings, Interim Associate Dean, undergraduate programs
Ms. Gina Billard, Senior Administrative Officer
With these changes in leadership, the school extends thanks to Dr. Heather Hair for her years of dedication as Associate Dean of undergraduate programs, and to Dr. Catherine de Boer, Chair, MSW program, Dr. Paul Banahene Adjei, Chair, PhD program, and Dr. Gail Wideman, Chair, research, for their hard work and dedication in these roles.
The new leadership team looks forward to collaborating with students, staff and faculty, as well as our community and government partners, as we navigate through these unprecedented times together.
