COVID-19 Resources

The day we can delete this page will be a day to celebrate, and that day will come. Until then keep checking back for updates of the programming and services that the ISRC can provide as restrictions change.

We are here to assist you in whatever way we can, from transitioning to online learning to staying connected through virtual events. If you would like to set up a time to chat or have a question please email or reach out to an ISRC staff member directly. For weekly details of our virtual programming and events check out the Indigenous Affairs calendar, follow the ISRC Facebook page, and email to get on our email list.

The ISRC is offering on-campus study space for self-identified Indigenous students. The study space is offered at the ISRC house which is located at 208 Elizabeth Avenue. Please note that the study space must be pre-booked and bookings are offered on a first-come-first-serve basis. If you wish to book study space, please email

Available time slots for the Fall 2020 semester are: Monday, Tuesday and Friday afternoons from 1:00 – 4:00pm and there are 4 slots available for each day and time (time slots are flexible pending demand). All students who book on-campus study space must also comply with health and safety guidelines prior to entering the space. Guideline will be emailed upon successful booking.

Open Office Hours with Tama happen virtually every Monday from 11am-1pm, and every Friday from 3-5pm (NST). Now that you can no longer drop by her office to see if she's available this is your opportunity to pop onto Webex to talk about whatever you need, whether it is about your studies or something going on in your personal life. This is a designated time and space where Tama will not have meetings or other commitments. Please email if you wish to schedule a meeting with her outside open office hours, or giver her a call at 709-864-8278.

Please join us every Wednesday afternoon for Wisdom Wednesdays. Time: 1-2pm (NST), please email for the link.

Join us every Thursday afternoon for Tent Talks. Time: 2-3pm (NST), please email for the link.
