Remote Workstations

The Ergonomics Program is available remotely to help employees set up their workstations and can do this through a Remote Workstation Set Up Appointment.

A Remote Workstation Set Up Appointment can occur in a variety of ways to best suit your needs, such as (but not limited to):

• Memorial’s Webex service
• Phone call
• Email correspondence

To request a Remote Workstation Set Up Appointment, please complete the Request for Remote Workstation Set Up form in the my.mun.ca portal under the Workplace Wellness and Accommodations section of the forms listing.  Once completed, email the form to ergonomics@mun.ca.

Question: If I haven’t had an assessment and I don’t have ergonomic equipment, can a Remote Workstation Set Up Appointment still help?

Yes, we can help you set up your current equipment to make it as suitable as possible. If ergonomic equipment is recommended through the Remote Set Up Appointment, we will do what we can to provide you with the recommended equipment.

Question: How long will the Remote Workstation Set Up Appointment take?

Typically about half an hour. Please allow added time in case needed.
