Employment Equity and Diversity Resources
Human Resources is committed to working to maintain a welcoming, favourable and accommodating environment for all employees and candidates for employment. Identifying and removing systemic barriers is an important step in this process.
Memorial is an employer partner with the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion (CCDI). CCDI is a national charity that promotes diversity and inclusion with the goal of helping organizations realize their equity and diversity objectives. Through CCDI, university employees have access to a number of resources including an online knowledge repository.
As part of the “Members Only” portal on their website, CCDI has an e-library with over 1,000 diversity and inclusion documents which are indexed and searchable by multiple parameters (e.g. by keyword, by topic, etc.). If you would like access to the Knowledge Repository, you can self-register here.
