Dr. Anne Poduska
With 10 years of experience in higher education and a non-profit, Dr. Anne Poduska has made impacts in areas including career and educational development, undergraduate engineering education, and research competitiveness. While she was a staff member at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, Dr. Poduska helped hundreds of graduate and undergraduate students advance their careers, whether it was through career advising, career development workshops, student educator trainings, or mentoring sessions. From her experiences teaching English in China and conducting graduate and postdoctoral research in Bangalore, India, she enjoys working in intercultural environments. Dr. Poduska is currently a freelance career consultant based in the Washington DC area.
Dr. Poduska received her M.S. and Ph.D. from Cornell University, majoring in theoretical chemistry and minoring in science communication, and her B.A. from Macalester College, majoring in Chemistry and English.
