Amy Todd has been working in Educator Development since 2006. As an Embedded Teaching Consultant in the Faculty of Science, Amy provides discipline specific teaching support with access to the variety of resources available at the Centre for Innovation in Teaching and Learning.

Through her work, Amy consults individually with faculty and instructional staff, provides professional development and consultations at the departmental level, and works with the Dean’s office on Faculty wide projects, including the establishment of a community of teaching practice in the sciences.

Amy’s current interests include effective course development and re-design, attribute based curriculum alignment, inquiry-based learning and critical teaching theory. In addition to her work in Educator Development, Amy also teaches in the Faculty of Science with a background in Molecular Biology.
