Student Opinion Panel
Memorial University’s Student Opinion Panel is a pilot project being conducted in Fall 2016 and Winter 2017 on Memorial University’s St. John’s campus.
The Student Opinion Panel participated in brief, online opinion polls and in-person focus groups throughout the Fall 2016 and Winter 2017 semesters.
The Student Opinion Panel will provide university faculty and staff with helpful, demographic-specific data and insight into current students’ experiences and perspectives.
Guidelines for the panel are found here. Deadline for participation in the 2016-2017 panel was Nov. 1, 2016.
The 2016-2017 Student Opinion Panel consisted of 547 students at Memorial's St. John's campus. Undergraduate students comprised approximately 70% of the panel, and about 30% of the group members were graduate students.
