Nature Tots & Little Explorers.

The registration information for each program is listed below.

General public registration, for all programs, will take place online, and at our visitor services desk (if you need to pay by debit or cash) beginning Wednesday, May 1, 2019.


  • Nature Tots

This toddler & adult program includes, stories, songs, and duck feeding. This is an outdoor program, but story time will be held inside during inclement weather. The trail is stroller accessible and the program is breastfeeding friendly.
This program is ideal for little ones who are walking (~1yr) up to 5 years old.

Offered Mondays and Fridays:
Session #1:  9 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.  (Fall Friday program is now FULL)
Session #2: 10:45 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Session #3: 1:15 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Program will run for 7 weeks
Spring: May 10 – Jun 21 (Fridays only)
Fall: Fridays: Sept 6 – Oct 18; and Mondays: Sept 9 - Oct 28 (note: there is no program on Monday, October 14th, due to the Thanksgiving weekend).  **** PLEASE NOTE - the program will have a delayed start of one week.  So programs will begin Friday September 13 & Monday September 16 - both programs will continue for the 7 weeks.****
10% discount & early registration for Family Season Pass holders

Cost of $45/spring or fall sesson or $80 for both sessons, for one toddler with adult. Extra family adult & child fee applies ($14/person/season)*. Max 10 families per session. 

If there are any open slots, drop-ins are accepted (please call/pre-register online, $11/session for one adult & child). 

*Younger siblings, aged 0-1, of the registered child are welcome to come along for free, but will not receive any program materials.

We always listen to the requests of patrons, so if you would like to suggest another day or time of day we should hold this program please fill out this P&T Request Form.   We need a minimum number of registrants to make a program financially viable for us but if we collect your names and find we have enough we will do our best to hold a program at that time!


  • Little Explorers

Get outside with your little one and explore our nature! Learn about the animals and plants in the area, participate in hands-on activities (we might get dirty so please dress appropriately!), listen to some nature based stories, and sing some songs! For preschoolers & young children, with an accompanying adult.
This program is ideal for little ones who can follow directions (~2.5yrs) up to 7 years old.

Offered Wednesday from 3:30 – 4:45pm

This program will run for 7 weeks.
Spring Session: May 8 – Jun 19 (extra week of Jun 26 added due to snow cancellation)
Fall Session: Sept 4 – Oct 16 *** PLEASE NOTE - the program will have a delayed start of one week. So the program will begin Wednesday September 11 and will continue for the 7 weeks.****

Cost of $115/spring or fall or $205 for both, for one child with an adult. Extra family adult & child fee applies ($14/person/season)**. Max 10 families per session. If there are any open slots, drop-ins are accepted (please call to pre-register, $20/session for one adult & child). Full registration includes a 2019 Family season pass ($50 value) which covers free family admission to our popular programs like our Game of Gnomes, Halloween Howl!

Refunds:

All payments are final, but exceptions may be made minus a $20 processing fee and doctor's note.
