Dr. Craig Dowden (B.Sc.(Hons.)’96) interviews Dr. Vianne Timmons, president and vice-chancellor of Memorial University.
Dr. Craig Dowden (B.Sc.(Hons.)’96) is an inspiring and thought-provoking executive coach who partners with leaders and executives to tackle their most important personal and organizational challenges.
Dr. Timmons is the first female President and Vice-Chancellor at MUN, having newly taken over in April 2020. She has extensive teaching experience across Canada, with wide-ranging research interests, with a particular emphasis on family literacy and #inclusive education. She is also an active contributor to several books and academic research projects, receiving numerous awards, including Officer of the Order of Canada in 2017 and the 2019 YWCA Women of Distinction Lifetime Achievement Award.
