Join us to discover the many possibilities available in the world of graduate studies!

Our guest speaker is Laura Winter (BA’99, MA’15) – a multi-award winning educator, folklorist, musician and arts facilitator. As one part of the Juno award-winning children’s band, The Swinging Belles, she has travelled Canada and Europe, playing music festivals and facilitating workshops for the young and young at heart. She’s also a grade one French immersion teacher at Bishop Field Elementary School, and completed her Bachelor of education at Acadia. She is the recipient of the ArtsNL award for Arts in Education, and most recently, she has earned Levels One and Two practitioner diplomas in Sound Healing from the Sound Healing Academy in Cornwall, England. She is the first certified Sound Healer and Vibrational Therapist in Newfoundland and Labrador.
