The 31st Annual Blundon Seminar Camp @ Memorial is currently underway. This a three-day event that brings senior high school students from across Newfoundland who are interested in mathematics and demonstrate consistently good performance in mathematics competitions.
As the latest recipient of the prestigious Killam Fellowship, Brendan Cooke will get to spend a semester in America. The second year physics/applied math student is excited to hear which of three universities he will attend.
Our honours students gave talks based on their honours research on Monday, April 9th.
The Department is the host to several conferences and workshops again this year. It will bring researchers and students in many different areas of mathematics and statistics from all over the world to our campus.
