Identity and Access Management (IAM) ensures the right people get access to the right resources at the right time. The IAM Program is based on Memorial's Strategic Roadmap for Identity and Access Management, published in January 2015. The program's strategic objectives include:

  • Improve the user experience
  • Gain flexibility and improve capacity to respond to changing needs and technologies
  • Increase cross university collaboration
  • Improve IT security posture and compliance


Connect to @Memorial wireless

There’s a new wireless network on the university’s St. John’s campus called @Memorial. Students, faculty and staff can connect to @Memorial using their MUN Login credentials. Those who haven’t changed their MUN Login password since May 11, 2016, should do so before connecting to the new wireless network.

Fewer passwords, fewer password changes

More than 2,000 Memorial staff took the first steps to reducing their passwords following IT improvements launched May 12 by Information Technology Services (ITS). Those improvements simplify the password process – enabling users to consolidate their passwords in one easy step using MUN Login. Starting Friday, when these users change their MUN Login password, the same password will also be set for their Memorial Domain and Memorial Exchange Email accounts.
