Mobile devices are getting smarter day by day in terms of capabilities and computing power. This triggers rapid growth of mobile applications which has gained momentum using cloud computing infrastructure. Cloud computing offers minimum management efforts for mobile applications at a very low cost. However, this recent advancement and growth towards mobile cloud computing brings up some research challenges (e.g., consistency, security, and privacy). To address these challenges, we propose to establish a transactionally consistent framework integrating transactional and cryptographic primitives including concurrency control and cryptographic techniques. This framework is intended to be such that it can be adapted to different mobile cloud implementations.
