Jeffrey Howard

Jeffrey Howard's areas of research include combat trauma experienced by Roman soldiers and Greek hoplites; Roman and Greek naval warfare; ancient warship design. He is currently utilizing naval architecture software to reconstruct a virtual model of the Roman warship, the quinquereme.

Jeffrey Howard's teaching interests include history of the Roman Republic, history of Imperial Rome, classical mythology and classics in pop culture.
