Add a Forwarding Address to a MUNmail Account

Step 1. Click the “gear” icon as below.

 

Step 2. Select “Settings”. 

 

Step 3. Select the “Forwarding” option.

Click on the “Add a forwarding address” button.

 

Step 4. Type in the email address you want to forward to.

Click “Next” then “Proceed” on the next screen to confirm.

 

Step 5. Click “OK”.

 

Check your “forwarded to” email account for a confirmation email, similar to the example below. More specifically, for your reference, check for the area which has been highlighted.


 

 


 

After clicking the confirmation link above via your email account, you should receive the following confirmation screen ...

username@mun.ca may now forward mail to username@gmail.com (or whichever personal address and provider you decide to forward to!).

Step 6. Now go back to your MUNmail account settings again which should still be on the same screen as below and select the second option to “Forward a copy of incoming mail to ... “ and choose the other drop down menu to “keep a copy MUN Mail’s copy in the inbox” or one of the other 4 selections such as “delete MUN Mail’s copy” and be sure to click the “Save Changes” button directly below this area.
