So which one do you click on?

Well, that depends on what you want to do. If you are accessing Self Service, from a PC or a MAC, click on the Self Service icon to the right. If you are accessing Banner INB forms then select the button appropriate for your operating system.

So what is the difference between Self Service and INB?

Well, Self Service is a web based access point to Banner Finance, Banner Student, and Faculty Web that can be used on or off campus. Self Service access the same data as the INB forms but does have some limitations. Self Service is intended to be a quick and easy way to access Banner using a webpage based approach.

INB Forms is a more powerful, but more technical, access point to Banner that can only be used inside the campus firewall. You can do more in INB but you need to understand how to navigate around the interface to get things done. Power Users often prefer Banner INB.

I need a new password.  Who do I call?

If you are a Faculty Web user or work with student information such as grades, scheduling and the like, then you need to contact the Registrar's Office for assistance.  You can use the reghelp@mun.ca email address or contact Lynn (864-4441) or Patricia (864-2123) directly.

If you are Banner HR user or work with Time Management, Leave Management, Personnel or HR Reporting, then you need to contact the HR Department for assistance.  You can use the ban_hr@mun.ca email address or contact Kim (864-2072) or Karen (864-4633) directly.

 

If you work with Banner Finance then you should contact banfinhelp@mun.ca or call Tracey (864-6778) for a new password.
