Masters Student Seeking Volunteers
Psych Dept

I am a Masters student in Experimental Psychology. I am conducting a study testing forensic interview techniques with young children. I am looking for volunteers to help put on a presentation for groups of children so that I can later interview the children about what they remember. I am specifically looking for male volunteers, but female volunteers are always welcome!

The presentation involves a live bunny and a puppet show. The overall time commitment for each presentation (including setup) is about 30 minutes. Volunteer roles include holding the bunny and teaching the children about bunnies; acting as the interrupter who takes the bunny away; acting as a puppeteer; or filming the presentation.

We anticipate doing 6 – 10 presentations in local schools and childcare centres during the summer. Your participation is entirely voluntary and you are not committed to staying with the project for any set length of time. Your personal information will be kept confidential.

It's a fun project and a great way to get research experience! If you are interested, please contact Heather Teron at hst476@mun.ca
