About the Archive
Mandate The Maritime History Archive collects and preserves documents relating to the history of maritime activities in Newfoundland and Labrador and throughout the North Atlantic world. Location The Archive is located in the Henrietta Harvey (Mathematics) building on the campus of Memorial University of Newfoundland in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. Hours The Archive is open to the public Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Staff The Archive has five archivists on staff.
