SUBJECT:	Public lecture series in philosophy continues

The St. John's Public Lectures in Philosophy series continues on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2003, with a lecture by Dr. David Thompson, Department of Philosophy, Memorial, who will speak on Weapons of Mass Destruction: War Against Iraq or Global Security? Dr. Thompson's presentation begins at 8:30 p.m. at the Ship Inn, Duckworth Street, St. John's.

The St. John's Public Lectures in Philosophy is an informal public lecture discussion series, with an emphasis on the intrinsic value of a critical examination of assumptions and presuppositions.
