The Happy Valley-Goose Bay Alumni Chapter of Memorial University invites you to a seminar and luncheon: EBay: A Safe Harbour with guest speaker Dr. Dale Foster, Memorial University of Newfoundland. Her presentation is happening on Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005, from 12-1 p.m. at the North Star Building. The $5 per person charge is meant to cover costs for the local chapter.

For centuries bays and inlets have allowed traders to reach safe harbours where they can buy and sell their merchandise. Today, because of the internet, that bay can stretch from Labrador to Tuvalu: EBay connects individuals and businesses with millions of buyers and sellers. In the shadow of big box shopping, this presentation will discuss how EBay can help you tap into new markets for your products. Seven musts for becoming a power EBay user will be presented.
