SUBJECT: Winner of the Margaret Williams Trust Fund announced

The trustees of the Margaret Williams Trust Fund are pleased to announce that the trust has made its 2004 award to Catherine Sinnott in the amount of $2,000.
Ms. Sinnott is a native of Newfoundland, having grown up in St. John’s. She holds a bachelor of arts (honours) in English with a psychology minor and a bachelor of science in behavioral neuroscience with a biology minor (2000) from Memorial University and is currently pursuing a master of library and information studies degree at McGill University.
The Margaret Williams Trust was established in 1982 by the family and friends of the former Memorial University librarian and was established to promote the development of librarianship in Newfoundland and Labrador. Funds are awarded on a competitive basis to applicants seeking funding for library related projects or assistance in pursuing graduate studies in librarianship, archival studies, or teacher librarianship.
