The Royal Commission on Renewing and Strengthening Our Place in Canada has been mandated to conduct a critical assessment of Newfoundland and Labrador's strengths and weaknesses and to bring forward recommendations as to how we can renew and strengthen our place in Canada.
The commission will hold a public meeting for post-secondary students and faculty at Hatcher House Dining Hall, Memorial University on Thursday, Jan. 23. The evening will begin with a meet and greet session with the commissioners at 6:30 p.m., followed by the meeting at 7 p.m. All are welcome.
