On Wednesday, Dec. 7, Dr. Rob Greenwood, executive director of the Harris Centre and the Office of Engagement at Memorial University, will release the findings of a Memorial-led research project that proposes a new approach to understanding regions in Newfoundland and Labrador. The event will also feature a demonstration of an innovative online tool for regional analysis.
Dr. Greenwood will be joined by Dr. Alvin Simms, associate professor, Department of Geography; Dr. Kelly Vodden, assistant professor, Department of Geography; and Craig Pollett, executive director, Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador.
The event will take place at 10 a.m., in Petro-Canada Hall, School of Music, St. Johns campus. A reception will follow. The event will also be webcast at www.mun.ca/harriscentre.
