SUBJECT:	Inaugural Canada Research Chair lecture

The inaugural Canada Research Chair lecture takes place on Tuesday, Oct. 22, starting at 7:00 p.m. in the main auditorium of the Health Sciences Centre. Dr. Thomas Michalak will give a public talk on Viral Hepatitis B: Practical Implications of Molecular Research

Dr. Michalak holds a Senior Canada Research Chair in Viral Hepatitis/Immunology. His research involves the immunological, molecular and pathological aspects of both hepatitis B and hepatitis C.

A reception will follow Dr. MichalakÕs lecture, which is open to the public and free. Parking is available in area 9 off Clinch Ave.
