SUBJECT: Public invited to tour the Marine Institute's training and research ship

Memorial University would like to invite the public to tour its training and applied research vessel, the M.V. Louis M. Lauzier.
The scientific ship, which is managed by the university's Marine Institute, is docked at the South Side Marine Base, Pier 25, on the south side of St. John's harbour. Tours of the Lauzier are free of charge, and members of the crew will be aboard to answer any questions about the ship's capabilities and activities.
Monday, Oct. 20: 3-7 p.m.
Tuesday, Oct. 21: 4-7 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 22: 3-7 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 23: 3-7 p.m.
The Lauzier tours are being offered as part of Celebrate Memorial 2003, an annual two-week festival that reflects Memorial's many connections to the community.
