| DATE: | Nov. 14, 2008 | |
Are you looking to switch up your workout routine, improve your swimming ability and get a great workout in a group setting?
Sir Wilfred Grenfell College’s Division of Community Education and College Relations is pleased to introduce H2O Fitness, a pilot program for the fall semester. The new program is designed to use the resistance properties of water to improve your fitness.
“We’re targeting time constrained professionals who are looking for a great workout that includes resistance, flexibility and cardiovascular training,” said Colin Walsh, Recreation Facilities Co-ordinator. “The 5 to 6 p.m. slot means that people can leave work, work out for an hour, and still be home at a reasonable time.”
Although the program began earlier this month, Community Education is still accepting registrants on a pro-rated basis. The pilot program ends Dec. 17.
