Local elementary school students will be vying for the gold in the first ever Think Green Olympics on Feb. 15. Students will compete in interactive business games designed to challenge them based on their experiences with their schools’ Think Green business.
Think Green, a recycling program for grade six students, teaches students environmentally sound business practices to run a school-wide recycling business. Last year, one participating school raised $22,000. This year, seven schools in the St. John’s area are participating in the program.
