SUBJECT: PSA: Henrietta Harvey lecturer discusses antiquity in Asia Minor

Dr. Lutgarde Vandeput, the director of the British Institute in Ankara, Turkey, will deliver the Henrietta Harvey Lecture at Memorial University this Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011.
An internationally-renowned archaeologist, Dr. Vandeput will discuss City Dwellers and Peasants in the Taurus Mountains, what she considers to be a good overview of the development of an ancient city and its territory from the Hellenistic period to late antiquity.
The lecture takes place in A-1043 and begins at 7:30 p.m. All are welcome and free parking is available in lot 15B.
