SUBJECT: Grenfell students invited to Rant like Rick

CORNER BROOK - Hey - If you're a Grenfell student and have a beef you need to get off your chest - RANT ABOUT IT AND WIN BIG BUCKS! And - win an expense-paid trip to St. John's to compete in the Rant like Rick contest (part of I Fell for Grenfell and I Love MUNDays celebrations).
The Grenfell portion of the Rant contest will take place Wednesday, Oct. 3, at 7 p.m. in the Food Court; the opportunity to travel to the Rant Like Rick finals on the St. John's campus was made possible by Memorial's Department of Student Affairs.
So work up your best rant and come along for chance to qualify for the grand prizes. You'll be asked to present a rant on camera on a subject chosen by the judges. Rants should range between 30 and 90 seconds in length.
If you are the lucky qualifier, you'll be flown to St. John's to take part in what organizers are calling a "Rantastic death match....American Idol style," set for Oct. 24 during Memorial's annual fall celebrations - I Love MUNdays/I Fell for Grenfell.
The contest is open to full-time students currently enrolled in the fall semester. The top three winners will be awarded $1000, $750, and $500, respectively.
The Rant Like Rick contest is sponsored by Memorial's Office of Student Recruitment.
