SUBJECT: ACE Memorial presents the Think Green Olympics

Local elementary school students will be vying for the gold in the first ever Think Green Olympics on Feb. 15. Students will compete in interactive business games designed to challenge them based on their experiences with their schools’ Think Green business.
Think Green, a recycling program for grade six students, teaches students environmentally sound business practices to run a school-wide recycling business. Last year, one participating school raised $22,000. This year, seven schools in the St. John’s area are participating in the program.

St. Matthews Elementary

Think Green is a project of ACE Memorial, two time national entrepreneurship champions and runners-up in the Students in Free Enterprise World Cup, a prestigious global event.
Altius Minerals is a supporter of the Think Green project, and president and CEO Brian Dalton will be participating in the Olympics.
