Live presentation of An Inconvenient Truth slideshow
Peter Corbyn, a global warming messenger trained by former U.S. Vice-President Al Gore, will give a presentation titled The Planetary Emergency of Global Warming and What We Can Do About It on Wednesday, March 28, 2007. Mr. Corbyn was trained by Mr. Gore, whose documentary An Inconvenient Truth features Mr. Gore’s presentation on the global warming issue. Mr. Corbyn’s presentation takes place from 7–8:30 p.m. in room IIC-2001, of the Inco Innovation Centre, located on Memorial’s St. John’s campus. There is no admission charge and is open to the public. People are advised to arrive early as there is limited seating. Free parking is available in Area 15, located to the east of the music building. This presentation is sponsored by Memorial University’s Sustainability Office.
