Career & Employment Advising

At Memorial, we're committed to helping you on your career path.

The Career Development Office at Student Life is central to the learning experience at Memorial. Access services by booking an appointment with a career advisor (see the section below) or contacting the office in order to explore career options, build work experience, and network with employers.

1-on-1 Career Advising

1-on-1 career advising appointments are offered to MUN students and alumni by a number of different units across campus. While the Career Development Office offers centralized career-related programming for all students and alumni, some units also employ staff to provide more targeted supports as listed below:
  • For career advising at the Internationalization Office, book an appointment with Ema Shiroma-Chao, International Student Career Advisor.
  • For career advising specific to business students, book an appointment any of the following staff at Embark, the student success centre within the Faculty of Business Administration:
Career advising appointments (in addition to academic advising appointments) can typically be booked through the Navigate platform, using the app or the desktop browser version. Please contact the individual advisors should you have any difficulties using Navigate. Appointments can be held in-person or virtually.
