Our Living-Learning programs are designed to link your personal interests and/or your academic program to your residence experience. As a member of a Living Learning program you will live with other residents, who share similar interests and may even be in the same academic program. You will also be able to participate in extra-curricular programming that will help you forge closer relationships with your fellow students, connect you to key faculty members, and support your learning outside of the classroom.
Starting in the fall 2013 semester, we will be offering two Living-Learning programs in our residences; Outdoor Recreation and First Year Engineering.
The Outdoor Recreation program will be delivered in partnership with the Faculty of Human Kinetics and Recreation and is designed for residents who have an interest in outdoor pursuits and education. In this program you will learn about and experience the outdoors through the various programs delivered by outdoor recreation educators and enthusiasts that will be offered throughout the academic year.
Our First Year Engineering Living-Learning program is being offered in partnership with the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences and is open to residents who are enrolled in first year engineering. As a resident in this program, you will benefit from activities that will help with your academic and career goals, while you begin your study of engineering.
We will be updating this page with more information as it becomes available, so please check back here again soon.
