Industry Engagement Day

Industry Engagement Day is a one-day event that aims to bring together industry representatives with university researchers to exchange ideas to help tackle some of industry's most challenging problems, in areas such aa oceans, shipbuilding, Arctic shipping, energy, machine learning, artificial intelligence, robotics, drones, to name a few.

Qannitaq 

The Qannitaq initiative is a successful initiative, co-led by Memorial and Inuit Circumpolar Council (ICC) Canada. It involves academia, private industry and governments, and is aimed at international changes to the Polar Code improving life for Inuit in Arctic regions.

Oil spill response

Some of our researchers were featured in a video series highlighting research teams studying techniques and technologies to aid in oil spill response across Canada. The Centre for Innovation in Teaching and Learning (CITL) produced the videos in partnership with research teams. The Memorial-led projects received funding under Fisheries and Oceans Canada’s Multi-Partner Research Initiative (MPRI).
