Personal Profile:

Hi! My name is Hongyuan Qiu. I am a Chinese student enrolled in Ph. D. program in oil and gas engineering. I was born in Zhenjiang, a middle-sized, moderately prosperous city of China. My hometown is famous for producing vinegar. You can find its specialty in many places and countries of the world.

Research Interest:

My research focuses on stochastic dynamics, the purpose of which is to analyze the dynamic response of the mechanical system from the random viewpoint. In the real world, there are so many uncertainties existing in the mechanical system. It is practical and reasonable to describe the response using probabilistic information. Publications of my research can be found in ‘Drilling Technology Laboratory Publications’
