The first book was published in 1977 under the title of Society, Culture and Schooling: Issues and Analysis, edited by Amarjit Singh & Ishmael Baksh, and contained most of the articles which originally appeared in various issues of the Morning Watch covering the period from 1973 to 2015. Collectively, all these books should make the work of those who contributed to the Morning Watch since its inception in 1973 readily available to a larger public.
