Income Distribution and the Burden of Non-Communicable Diseases Among Visible M, Dr. Eric Y Tenkorang

Dr. Eric Tenkorang's research for CARE examines the factors that contribute to the first onset of diabetes among immigrant and visible minority populations in Canada. The results of this research suggest the need to develop of gender-specific interventions, targeted at specific immigrant groups with increased risks of developing diabetes earlier in the life course.
