One of four universities across Canada chosen by the CBC for this rare opportunity, MUN began this partnership with CBC Radio in 2003. Every summer since then, one deserving MUN applicant has been awarded the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in radio production with CBC Radio. For the winners, it is the experience of a lifetime! Open to students in the final year of their degree program, the CBC Radio Peter Gzowski internship competition has provided the chance for one lucky recipient each year to receive a week of training in Toronto before continuing with their paid summer internship here in St. John's.
