Glass

Recovered glass items include bottle glass and glass beads. Seventy-two fragments of bottle glass, representing a minimum of four different bottles, were excavated. Fifty-three glass beads were also recovered. The most common colours were bright navy and white. The beads were strung to wear around the wrists and neck or used for beadwork. Beads were an emblem of prestige and status among the Inuit.
