The parties met with the assistance of the conciliation officer on October 27-28.  During these meetings a number of unresolved clauses were addressed by the parties through a combination of reaching agreement regarding collective agreement language or withdrawing prior proposals.

At the conclusion of the session, the conciliation officer indicated he felt there was good progress, and suggested at the next set of meetings the parties would be in a position to discuss monetary items. 

Additional dates for conciliation have been booked for November 9-10, 16-17, 30 and December 1.
