Memorial University is one of the largest universities in Atlantic Canada, offering more than 100 degree programs to a student population of almost 19,000.
The largest of four campuses is located in Newfoundland and Labrador’s capital city, St. John’s. On the St. John’s campus you’ll find state-of-the-art facilities and first-rate services. The Works offers you the provinces most comprehensive recreation package at a decent price; while at the Queen Elizabeth II Library you’ll find the best library holdings in Atlantic Canada.
If you plan on living on-campus you’ll find that our residence facilities provide a safe environment that promotes academic success and provides an abundance of social, recreational, and educational learning opportunities. And most of our residences are connected to the MUNnels, the Memorial tunnel system, so you don’t need to go outside to get to your classes during the cold winter months.
Whether you're studying, working-out, having a bite to eat or hanging-out with friends, there is always something to do on campus.
