How to Apply
The School of Social Work at Memorial University offers a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) as both a First Degree and as a Second Degree.
The annual application deadline for both BSW Programs is March 1st, by 4:30 pm. All application components must be received at their designated locations, on or before that date.
Important note: If an applicant is not a current MUN student, they are required to submit a general application to Memorial (available at www.mun.ca/regoff/admission/) in addition to the supplementary forms below. If an applicant is a current MUN student, they are required to submit only the supplementary forms. This applies to both the BSW as a First Degree and the BSW as a Second Degree program. All forms must be received at the appropriate office indicated on the corresponding form on or before the March 1 deadline.
Applicants will normally be notified of admissions decisions late June/early July.
Students accepted to the BSW as a First Degree Program will begin the program in the Fall Semester (September) and applicants accepted to the BSW as a Second Degree will begin the program in the Winter Semester (January).
