Organization: Empower – Take Two Gently-used Clothing and More

Take Two, Gently-used Clothing and More is a second-hand clothing and small household goods (toys, dishes, small appliances and utensils, pictures, lamps, curtains, luggage, books, CDs & DVDs, etc.). It's a social enterprise meaning all funds raised stay locally to support the charity, Empower, The Disability Resource Centre's programs and services to help persons with disabilities live independently. We also employ persons with a variety of disabilities.

Job Description – Take Two Marketing Coordinator
Take Two is seeking student help on a variety of marketing tasks. These include:

  • Review of final group report of past social enterprise students
  • Developing annual marketing plan (social media, advertising, PSA's, etc., ) with timeline, activities and costs
  • Developing flyers for various marketing initiatives through the year
  • Developing social media postings including photos of products and update Facebook weekly
  • Creating bios of staff and photo with each to post to fb & website
  • Being creative with promotional ideas for a charities' second hand store

Start and End Dates: October 2 to Dec 22, 2017 - 12 weeks
Hours per week: 14 to 20 Hours per week
