Using the Templates and Manuals

Memorial University wishes to thank the University of New Brunswick for generously allowing us to repurpose their Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETD) templates and manuals which are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 2.5 Canada License.

Graduate students are encouraged to use the templates below to create drafts of their theses.

While students are free to use any word processor to create their thesis, they are advised that final e-submission will eventually be in PDF/A format. As such, they should ensure proper conversion into PDF/A from their desired word processing software format is possible.

All thesis templates are provided "as is". Unfortunately, the School of Graduate Studies is unable to provide technical support at this time. Most - if not all of - your questions can be answered on the multitude of MS Word.
